Rampage - George Gittoes, George Bush

Now I'm really no movie reviewer - in fact I'll leave that to the experts like Cibby with his charmingly witty story-telling and toned physique.
I will say though, that watching Australian filmmaker George Gittoes' "RAMPAGE" struck a similar chord to that of David La Chapelle's krumptastic "RIZE" documentary.
Rampage is an extraordinary and very intimate look into the lives of 4 brothers living in the ghettos of Miami. The eldest son, who served in the US army, explains in verse how spending time among the bombs and carcasses in Baghdad is a lot safer than living at home in the 'burbs of neglected Miami. The film was a natural progression from Gittoes' previous "Soundtrack To War" doco covering the war in Iraq.
The thought that some of these soldiers feel safer in foreign war-torn lands than in their own hometown is alarming; that Boy George should really take care of the Bush in his own backyard.
For those interested in seeing this film, Hiphop.org.au is giving away 10 double passes to Rampage which opens on 30 November 2006 at Dendy Cinemas. For your chance to win, visit the Competitions Forum. Goodluck!
