Clubbing for Charity - Spare Change (Sydney)

Rarely are nightclub events held specifically to raise money for charity. It is, for the most part, a real shady kinda business but there are promoters out there who give me hope that there are good people in the industry. Which is why I never sought out club events to post up on this site, but from all the inquiries I get about good Hip Hop/R&B/House/Electro clubs in Sydney, I thought I'd put up a separate forum for events that I've been made aware of.
Next Friday, if you're in Sydney, try to check out a night called "Spare Change" which is held in collaboration with many promoters and DJs to raise money for Father Chris Riley's Youth Off The Streets organisation. I'm a big fan of this charity and aim to work with them in the future, if not doing similar things for the community - 'cause God knows we need it.

Father Chris Riley's Youth Off The Streets is a community organisation working for young people who are chronically homeless, drug dependent and recovering from abuse. They support these young people as they work to turn their lives around and overcome immense personal traumas such as neglect and physical, psychological and emotional abuse. The first Spare Change was sold out and raised $16, 031.45 for the NSW Cancer Council. Don't miss out as the industry elite come together once again to provide a clubbing experience with a cause
All DJ's, MC's and performers under the Broken Wings Entertainment family will be donating their time and talents for this worthwhile cause. We thank them for their support and to all the staff, promotional crews and volunteers involved.
